Job Description - Route Delivery Driver

We are currently seeking a Route Delivery Driver for our Chicago, IL area market. This position is responsible for the efficient delivery of bottled water and related products to the customer base on scheduled delivery days, and to provide exemplary customer service and promote customer base growth. The Route Delivery Driver also holds a high level of safety, product quality, and environmental standards. We provide a hands-on training process upon hire.

 

Essential Functions

• Deliver pre-ordered water related products to the customer base

• Efficiently manage customer base within established route with an average of 30+ stops per day

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle and diligently perform all duties in a safe manner

• Develop a relationship with and provide service and products to existing customers that insures customer retention and customer loyalty

• Identify opportunities to acquire new long-term customers to support route growth

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL Class C license (CDL required in some locations) with proper Department of Transportation (DOT)

• Ability to meet ongoing federal DOT physical requirements and testing

• Ability to work in a fast pace environment where quantity and quality go hand in hand

• Physical requirements include ability to bend, squat, walk with heavy equipment, climb ladders, and lift 50+ pounds
